Kirsters Baish| Tim Allen fans all over the country are gearing up for the much anticipated revival of the all-American family show, “Last Man Standing.” The show originally aired on ABC, and after six seasons (with great ratings) ABC put the kibosh on the show with no explanation. Fox has picked up the show in an epic move.
While it seems a little strange to be calling a show a revival or a reboot after it only spent about a year off the air, there really is no other word to describe it. “Last Man Standing” was actually right behind “Modern Family” when it came down to ratings on ABC. The only reason we can come up with as to why they would end the show involves political reasons.
Tim Allen explained in a statement in which he announced the reboot, “Team LMS was in the sixth inning, ahead by four runs, stands were packed and then for no reason, they call off the game. It leaves you sitting in the dugout, holding a bat and puzzled. Now we get the news from FOX that it’s time to get back out on that diamond – hell yes, I’m excited.”
With the astounding success that “Roseanne” has seen after it spent roughly two decades off the air, we can only assume that “Last Man Standing” is going to have similar ratings. The two shows appeal to a very similar demographic, that being one of Trump supporters, Conservative Americans, and Christians.
Conservative Tribune reports of the show:
“Last Man Standing” will be part of a revamped Fox lineup, which has seen the departure of some longtime favorites, including “The Mick.”
So, what’s it like? Well, even though we’re limited to a few jokes, it seems every bit as awesome as we remember.

It’s great to see Fox taking on “Last Man Standing” since ABC is too politically motivated against Trump to keep it on the air.
