Trump’s Granddaughter Dubbed “Child Star” in China After This Video Presented to President

Kirsters Baish| President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump just took a trip to China which was extremely successful in elevating relations between the United States and the communist nation. the Chinese people gave President Trump and extremely warm welcome, showing our Commander in Chief the utmost respect.

From the minute his plane landed in Beijing, Trump was treated like royalty. This was a big difference from Obama’s visit in 2016 during which time the Chinese showed him very little regard. President Trump was the very first foreign leader to ever be allowed to dine in the Forbidden City since the People’s Republic was founded. The Chinese did everything they could do impress Trump.

Trump’s response was touching. He showed President Xi a video of his granddaughter, Arabella, talking and singing in Mandarin. It was an instant hit with the people of China, including President Xi. Arabella has been dubbed a “child star” in China, and the people of China adore her.

The Daily Wire reported:

President Trump may not speak Mandarin (and he does say “China” kind of funny), so on his trip to the biog red nation, Trump brought along someone who does — Arabella Rose Kushner, his 6-year-old granddaughter.

During Trump’s meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping on Wednesday, when the leaders strolled through the ancient Forbidden City, Trump showed Xi a video of his granddaughter. In it, Arabella greets “Grandpa Xi and Grandma Peng” and then sings several Mandarin ballads. She concludes by reciting an ancient Chinese poem — all in Mandarin.

Xinhua state news in China displayed the clip and explained that Arabella’s Mandarin skills are “A+.” Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying explained that the people of China were all in agreement.

Hua spoke during a press briefing on Thursday and stated, “As a little ambassador of Chinese-American friendship, Arabella has already received the love of a vast number of Chinese people. This kind of special arrangement is actually very sweet and warm-hearted. We believe that this has helped to further bring closer the affection and distance between the Chinese and American people.”

The full video of Arabella singing and speaking was played during the state dinner that was put together by Xi to honor President Trump. The dinner took place at the Great Hall of People on Thursday evening. President Trump stated, “Our children so often remind us of our shared humanity and true dignity.”

China’s Twitter-like outlet, Weibo, had post after post about Arabella’s video.

People wrote, “She’s too cute!” and “Let’s hope that she marries into a Chinese family.”

Arabella is used to the headlines for her Mandarin skills. In April of this year, President Xi paid a visit to Mar-a-Lago. During his visit, Arabella performed a song in Mandarin to President Xi and his wife, Madame Peng Liyuan.

Arabella is Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner’s daughter. The two parents have made a very wise choice in having their daughter learn a language like Mandarin that will possibly help her in the future when it comes to a career. There are almost two times more people in the world who speak Mandarin than Spanish. Speaking Mandarin is a great tool for the business world.

It’s great to see President Trump and his family establishing a personal connection with the people of China. Let’s hope our relations with Asia continue to improve. Trump is already doing a better job in his first year as president than Obama did in eight years. Way to go, Arabella!
