Kirsters Baish| Ever since James Comey was dismissed by President Trump as FBI Director, he has been making headlines as one of the most hated men among American conservatives. We all know that White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders isn’t one to beat around the bush, so when his new book was released, you know she had something to say.
Sanders tore the disgraced former FBI director apart during Friday’s press conference. She totally trashed Comey’s new book, calling it “bargain bin” trash. She also stated that one of the greatest achievements President Trump has reached in his presidency thus far was firing the “disgraceful hack.”
Take a look at the video clip below:
Sanders explained to the reporters, “The American people see right through the blatant lies of a self-admitted leaker. This is nothing more than a poorly executed PR stunt by Comey to desperately rehabilitate his tattered reputation and enrich his own bank account.”
She has a point. It does seem to look an awful lot like James Comey is desperately grasping at straws, tying to save a career that is already dead and buried.
“[He’s] peddling a book that belongs in the bargain bin instead of being remembered as a dedicated servant in the pursuit of justice like so many of his other colleagues in the FBI,” she continued.
“Comey will forever be known as a disgraced partisan hack who broke his trust with the President of the United States. One of the President’s greatest achievements will go down as firing Director James Comey.”
If Comey really thinks that anyone truly believes that he is a partisan at this point, he really needs to look at the definition of the word and study it. We all knew that Comey was just another tool for the Democratic Party to take advantage of, and you can be sure that there was more to the Clinton email probe that we were never informed about. For Comey to go from calling Clinton’s handling of classified government information “grossly negligent” to dismissing the case against her all together, there had to be more to the story. All Sarah Huckabee Sanders did was call it like it is, and no one can really be mad at her about that, can they?
