Obama Lie Caught on Camera- Claimed to Never Talk to FBI About Investigations

Kirsters Baish| The hits just keep coming in reference to the Peter Strzok and Lisa Page text messages. We are now hearing that former President Barack Obama is the one taking the hit. There have just been new sets of text messages between the Tristan and Isolde of the FBI released to the public. These messages seem to imply that the Obama administration was hoping to stay informed on certain investigations going on even after Obama was out of office.

You may be wondering why this is so important. Well, the simple fact is that this proves that former President Obama was lying during a 2016 interview in which he was questioned about his involvement in the FBI’s multifarious Clinton-related ties.

According to Fox News, the text messages that are being questioned are from September 2, 2016. This was after James Comey had officially cleared Hillary Clinton of any wrong-doing.

Strzok had texted Page, “Checkout my 9:30 mtg on the 7th.”

In response, Page stated, “I can tell you why you’re having that meeting. It’s not what you think.”

Then, Strzok answered, “TPs (talking points) for D (Comey)?”

Page then answered, “Yes, bc potus wants to know everything we are doing.”

When saying “POTUS,” Page is referring to Barack Obama, who was president at the time of the text messages. By all means, it appears that these messages confirmed that Barack Obama was receiving briefings about ongoing FBI investigations after his time in the White House was up.

Mr. Strzok was a part of the most high-level FBI investigation in which he was working on leading the Hillary Clinton email probe. You know what comes next.

Conservative Tribune reported:

Whatever the president was being briefed on, it still means he was lying earlier that year during an appearance on “Fox News Sunday” with Chris Wallace.

Wallace’s line of questioning began with the particulars of the information that passed through Hillary Clinton’s private email account, including tons of emails with classified information, 22 of which were top secret. “Can you still say flatly that she did not jeopardize America’s secrets?” Wallace asked.

“I’ve got to be careful because, as you know, there have been investigations, there are hearings, Congress is looking at this. And I haven’t been sorting through each and every aspect of this,” the former president said. “Here’s what I know: Hillary Clinton was an outstanding Secretary of State. She would never intentionally put America in any kind of jeopardy.”

Wallace asked if he could “guarantee to the American people, can you direct the Justice Department to say, ‘Hillary Clinton will be treated- as the evidence goes, she will not be in any way protected.'” Obama insisted that he did not interfere with any FBI investigations.

He answered, “I can guarantee that. And I can guarantee that, not because I give Attorney General Lynch a directive, that is institutionally how we have always operated. I do not talk to the Attorney General about pending investigations. I do not talk to FBI directors about pending investigations. We have a strict line, and always have maintained it, previous precedent.”

I’m sure the Obama administration has a good explanation for all of this. Insert eye roll here.
