Kirsters Baish| We all love United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley. She is always blunt in expressing her opinions. This past Tuesday, Haley blocked a United Nations Security Council resolution which called for a probe into the way Israel had conducted themselves during clashes with Palestinian protesters while at Israel’s border with the Gaza Strip.
Later into the meeting, Haley left the Security Counsel session while the Palestinian representative took the mic to speak.
It was reported by the Washington Examiner that a United Nations statement was proposed by Kuwait, which called for an investigation into the Israel Defense Forces to find out if they violated international bans on “willful killing and willfully causing great suffering.”
It was stated by the Palestinian Health Ministry that 60 people died and 2,700 people were injured during Monday’s protests, as reported by CNN.
Haley placed all the blame on the terrorist group, Hamas, for having pushed the violent protests that took place in Gaza.
“In recent days, Hamas terrorists, backed by Iran, have incited attacks against Israeli security forces and infrastructure,” Haley said.
“I ask my colleagues here in the Security Council, who among us would accept this type of activity on your border? No one would. No country in this chamber would act with more restraint than Israel has. In fact, the records of several countries here today suggest they would be much less restrained,” she went on.

Haley also argued that the terrorist group called for a breach of the border fence that is shared with Israel.
“Hamas maps and social media show the fastest routes to reach Israeli communities in case demonstrators make it through the security fence,” she explained. “They have reported on Hamas messages over loudspeakers that urge demonstrators to burst through the fence, falsely claiming Israeli soldiers were fleeing, when in fact they were not.”
Haley later left the room right as “Palestinian Permanent Observer to the U.N. Riyad Mansour addressed the Security Council.”
“We condemn in the strongest terms this odious massacre committed by Israel occupation forces,” he explained.

Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro appeared on Fox News this Tuesday to recount that the Palestinians in Gaza had elected Hamas to lead them back in 2006. This wasn’t long after Israel had withdrawn from the territory.
“Hamas is a State Department designated terrorist group, and one of the worst terrorist groups on the planet,” explained Shapiro, “yet we’re supposed to believe this is Israel’s fault that Hamas is trying to storm the border.”

Shapiro continued, “This is what terrorist groups do. When terrorist groups get a civilian killed, they are happy because they know the media coverage will be that Israelis killed civilians.”
