Kirsters Baish| Senator John McCain has made it pretty clear that he isn’t really approving of doing what his constituents put him in Washington in the first place to do. Think about it. John McCain’s most recent Senate campaign promised to repeal Obamacare… then he went on to back up Obamacare. The reason why is obvious. McCain has it out for Trump.
We aren’t denying that Trump made some rude comments about McCain, but this was more than a year ago. He needs to move on at some point, but it doesn’t seem like this is something that he is capable of doing.
Over the last few months, there has been a lot of questions about McCain’s connection to the phony Trump “dossier.” While we do know that McCain handed over his copy of the dossier to the FBI, we are still unaware of how McCain got his hands on it in the first place.
The Washington Post reported that McCain was well aware of what he was doing.
BizPac Review reported:
In an article titled, “Hero or hired gun? How a British former spy became a flash point in the Russia investigation,” the newspaper detailed how McCain came to have a copy of the unverified dossier that he then forwarded to the FBI.
The article erases any doubt that McCain may not have known the origins of the dossier. It’s not clear if the Republican lawmaker knew that the DNC and Hillary Clinton’s campaign provided funding for the research.
Andrew Wood, a former British ambassador to Moscow and friend of Christopher Steele, the ex-British spy behind the dossier, reached out to David Kramer to get the research on Trump into the hands of the Republicans, The Post reported.
The Washington Post wrote that ten days later, Kramer and Steele made arraignments to meet up at Heathrow Airport in London. Kramer was looking for a man in a blue raincoat and holding an issue of Financial Times under his arm (as per the instructions given to him.) Kramer went with Steele to his house. The two spent some time going over the Trump research. When he arrived back in Washington, Kramer obtained a copy of the dossier from Simpson. The handoff was completed when McCain was given the dossier.
It’s obvious that McCain as aware that Fusion GPS was involved with the dossier, and we also know that McCain’s move was clearly politically motivated by his hatred for Trump.
McCain is clearly a Democrat at this point in time. It’s a wonder he hasn’t dropped the “R” in front of his name an replaced it with a “D.” All he cares about is getting back at President Trump.
It’s been pretty clear that at this point, the Democrats like McCain more than the Republicans do.
The Hill reported:
Forty-four percent of Republicans surveyed in the Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll released Wednesday hold a negative view of McCain, while only 35 percent have a positive view of him. Meanwhile, 52 percent of Democrats surveyed now see him in a positive light.
It’s looking worse and worse for McCain as details emerge. This guy should have retired from politics before he made a total jerk of himself.
