Kirsters Baish| As you are probably aware, Facebook CEO turned American villain Mark Zuckerberg, admitted that his corporation made what he called an “enforcement error” when it came to censored popular conservative commentators Diamond and Silk. When Texas Republican Joe Barton starting questioning the founder of the social media empire, he read a message to Zuckerberg which he received via Facebook. The message asked why the social media website had censored the heavily-trafficked pro-Trump African American commentator duo Diamond and Silk.
Zuckerberg claimed that the entire thing was one big misunderstanding.
“In that specific case,” Zuckerberg stated, “our team made an enforcement error. And we have already got in touch with them to reverse it.”
Barton continued on to actually praise Facebook, calling the business a “success story” for having more than 2 billion users to date. The congressman went on, however, to say, “It’s such an integral part of certainly young Americans’ lives that you need t work with Congress and the community to ensure that it is a neutral safe, and to the largest extent possible private platform.”
“I do agree that we should work to give people the fullest free expression that is possible. That’s what when I talk about giving people a voice, that’s what I care about,” Zuckerberg answered.
We have to wonder just how true this stands to be.
Later into the hearing, Louisiana Republican Steve Scalise questioned the Facebook CEO about just how the website’s algorithm has just been censoring conservative sites. This is, obviously, something that we cannot ignore. Scalise looked Zuckerberg in the eye and explained that the new algorithm that was put into place in order to stop “fake news” seemed to only be impacting conservative news sites.
Zuckerberg claimed that there was no bias existing in his software.
Scalise asks Zuckerberg is there was an algorithm chance that demoted conservative content on Facebook.
Conservative pages have lost huge traffic since February compared to leftist pages that were not hit.

The Facebook founder never answered the actual question, but the evidence that Scalise mentioned doesn’t lie. It basically proves that the algorithm was intended to target conservative news sites.
Tech Giants Google and Facebook are currently purging conservative content from Facebook and YouTube — They are hiding conservative stories on Google — They are shadow-banning conservative news on all social media.
In February Facebook launched a new algorithm to ensure that conservative news would not spread on the social media platform.
This was after Facebook announced it was losing 50,000,000 user hours a day in the previous quarter.
The algorithm change caused President Donald Trump’s engagement on Facebook posts to plummet a whopping 45%.
In contrast, Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT) do not appear to have suffered a comparable decline in Facebook engagement.
Facebook is clearly targeting conservatives, and the war on free speech is only beginning.
