Flashback: Christian Grammy Nominee Natalie Grant Walks Out of the Grammys

Kirsters Baish| Celebrities these days seem more like a flock of sheep. They follow whatever the mainstream Liberal media tells them to. Well, most of them anyway. One Grammy nominee felt so strongly about her own beliefs that she decided to go against the tide and actually LEAVE the Grammys for a very good reason.

Christian artist Natalie Grant was nominated for not one, but two Grammy awards. She was up for Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance for her hit “Alive (Mary Magdelene).” She wrote the song with help from her husband, Bernie Helms. She was also nominated for Best Christian Music Song for her song “Hurricane,” which climbed the charts with ease.

The husband and wife duo attended the Grammys to proudly represent their genre of Gospel music. They had no clue what they were walking into when they arrived at the Los Angeles Staples Center.

Liberty One News wrote:

To warm up the congregation and open the service, Beyoncé twerked her ample bethonged derriere to the delight of millions. Next, Natalie and Bernie were subjected to Mrs. Carter sitting astride a chair in, shall we say, an extremely come-hither position.

Finally, the high-powered billionaire, Jay-Z, and his bodacious bride left little to the imagination about what goes on in their boudoir when nobody’s looking.

From there, Natalie got to see pop star Katy Perry.

Ironically, Katy Perry used to sing about Jesus. However, since crossing over into showbiz stardom she’s been circling the vortex of hellish behavior for years. Katy, wearing an illuminated Knights Templar cross on her chest, pushed the envelope beyond ‘kissing a girl’ in what even the secular media described as a satanic ritual. Or at best, witchcraft.

So there was Katy. She wore an illuminated Knights Templar cross on her chest, and she pushed the envelope beyond ‘kissing a girl’ and liking it.

Perry even shocked Leftists, in what even the secular media described as a satanic ritual. This performance represented incredible timing. Because Natalie and Bernie started to feel out of place among people winning awards for being “Up all night to ‘Get Lucky.’”

The Huffington Post reported that Macklemore & Ryan Lewis performed “Same Love” with guest vocals by Mary Lambert and Madonna. Queen Latifah officiated the marriages of 33 gay and straight couples during the act.

Although it isn’t 100% clear which celebrity act triggered Natalie’s response, but she and her husband decided it would be best for them to leave the Grammys early. Luckily they escaped before Madonna preached “artistically” about the importance of same sex couples being able to get married… this is a music awards show, not a political event. Actor Kirk Cameron had very similar views to Grant and her husband. He was quoted saying the Grammys turned into “all out assault on the traditional family.”

Cameron went on Facebook later and wrote:

“As a husband and father, I am proud to announce the release of my new family movie, MERCY RULE. Last night, the lines were drawn thick and dark. Now more than ever, we must work together to create the world we want for our children.”

Natalie still acted with grace and dignity when she later posted to her Facebook page about the reasoning behind her and her hubby leaving early. Her few words were enough to get the point across:

“We left the Grammy’s early. I’ve many thoughts about the show tonight, most of which are probably better left inside my head. But I’ll say this: I’ve never been more honored to sing about Jesus and for Jesus. And I’ve never been more sure of the path I’ve chosen.”

It’s sickening that our country has turned music into a tool for Liberal propaganda. These celebrities are just too stupid to realize that they’re just a pawn in the political game, and the Left will continue to use them as so for as long as they continue to follow like blind sheep. Luckily there are still a few good celebrities out there. Thank you, Natalie Grant for showing us what it means to be a true American.

While Natalie took this brave stand in 2014, it is just as powerful today as it was then.  Share this post if you want more God fearing celebrities to stand up against Godlessness in America and Hollywood!
