California Conservatives Start Petition to Push Actor James Woods to Run for Governor

Kirsters Baish| There has been a lot of talk surrounding Hollywood conservative actor James Woods and the possibility of him running for Governor of California. Conservative activist Melanie Morgan along with legions of supporters have made it clear that they want Woods to run. Morgan is responsible for the new petition that was launched in order to push Woods to run. She has stated, “Californians deserve a choice in this year’s crucial election and it’s a mistake to allow Gavin Newsom to cakewalk right into the governorship without a fight.”

Woods has been very open and honest about his support for President Donald trump. He has more than 1 million followers on Twitter who love his bold opinions on politics. His tweets are always provocative, well-calibrated, and extremely well thought out.

During the time that this petition has been launched, Woods has called for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program to be done away with immediately.

“End completely, build the wall, defund sanctuary cities, end chain migration, enforce voter ID, and deport all lawbreakers. Democrats never listened to us when they were in control. Wake up, Republicans. You have the power. Use it, for God’s sake!”, Woods wrote on Twitter.

Woods finished off by saying “If you fold on immigration, you are a one term president.” Harsh but true statement from the man who isn’t afraid to speak his mind.

The actor has been one of the most vocal supporters of President Trump in Hollywood over the last couple of years. He has gained a huge following on social media. How has he done this? By trolling the left with expertise and supporting the Trump administration to a fault.

Woods has recently been in the spotlight for slamming Senator Jeff Flake (Republican, Arizona) after the lawmaker called those who attend Trump rallies “spasms of a dying party.”

Woods tweeted, “You mean the party that has the Presidency, the House, the Senate, the Supreme Court, the majority of State Legislatures, the majority of State Governors, and is poised the steamroll over the broke Democrats in 2018, 2020, and 2024? You mean THAT dying party? ?”

Cristina Lalia of the Gateway Pundit pointed out that Woods had recently called out “groping Joe Biden” after speculation formed about the former Vice President thinking about running in 2020.

Woods recently tweeted a photo of Joe Biden groping the face of a young boy with the caption, “Hope this guy runs in 2020. The hashtag he added to the image read “#GropingJoe.”

While Woods hasn’t commented on the possibility of running for governor, I think it’s safe to say that he would have plenty of support if he did decide to do so.
