Antifa Thugs Attempt to Intimidate Reporter Andy Ngo at Seattle Rally, Police Threaten Arrest for Videotaping

Kirsters Baish| It has been reported by the Gateway Pundit that a video journalist and writer for the Quillette from Portland, Oregon, Andy Ngo, was in Seattle, Washington, covering a pro-Constitution rally, which was being hosted by III%’ers, among other conservative groups. Ngo, who is gay and Asian, was also attending the counter protest that was being held by members of the far-left group Antifa.

The Gateway Pundit reports, “As Ngo attempted to make his way into the communist group to capture the scene, several people confronted him and prevented him from going in, including at least three people armed with AR15’s and an AK47.”

Initially, Seattle Police had been pushing Antifa members to allow Ngo to make his way in, since it is against the law to hinder someone’s movement on a public sidewalk.

The Gateway Pundit reports, “A short time later, like the ‘police’ departments in places such as Portland and Berkeley, Seattle ‘officers’ started targeting Ngo, threatening to arrest him for standing on the sidewalk. This was while Ngo was being victimized by several different Antifa members harassing and shoving him, even pinning him up against one of the police barriers.”

Seattle Police Officers had said that Ngo’s presence was “inciting conflict.” They then ordered that the journalist leave the public area.

Why didn’t Seattle Police have a problem with these Antifa thugs holding their totally un-permitted protest, which blocked the city’s public sidewalks? They also didn’t seem to have a problem with them open carrying rifles, or with the way they continually harassed Ngo. The Gateway Pundit reports that “even when one antifa member issued a death threat to Ngo, saying ‘Are you willing to die for Youtube shit?…Death is coming to you… You spying and doing this punk s*** is gunna get you hurt.’”
