Al Gore Made Prediction Nine Years Ago… Boy, Was He Wrong

Kirsters Baish| Liberals love to talk about global warming, and Al Gore is no exception. Clearly he doesn’t know what he’s talking about, and anyone who pays attention knows that by now. Think back nine years and try and recall what Al Gore was going around saying. If you can’t remember, just take a look at the video below:

The guy actually claimed that the polar ice caps might be melted within five years.

Gateway Pundit reported that former Vice President Al Gore referenced computer modeling in order to suggest that the north polar ice cap might lose almost all of its ice within the next seven years. He stated, “Some of the models suggest that there is a 75 percent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during some of the summer months, could be completely ice-free within the next five to seven years.”

Five years later, and he was very wrong.

The Washington Times reported:

The two month journey is being made by the Polar Ocean Challenge. They will be traveling from Bristol, Alaska, to Norway, then all the way to Russia through the North East passage, then back to Alaska through the North West passage, to Greenland, and then back to Bristol in the end. Their website clearly lays out their trip’s entire objective, which is to show “that the Arctic sea ice coverage shrinks back so far now in the summer months that sea that was permanently locked up now can allow passage through.” They were wrong.
